The Waterproof Boulder Boot has long been our most requested shoe, and we’re confident that they’ll be worth the wait. Speaking of weight, this boot still maintains the lightweight frame you’ve come to know and love from Lems — even though we’ve added a unique waterproof membrane, these puppies will still hit the scale at a featherlight 12.9oz.

We also took some time to rethink the overall construction of our latest release, and reinforced everything; from a thicker gauge thread to an overall stronger outer construction, this is our toughest pair yet. And yes, before you ask, they’re zero-drop. Ready to roll through a river, plow through an ice pack, or anything else on your agenda? Good, because so are our Waterproof Boulder Boots, which keep your feet shockingly clear from clammy conditions due to a breathable waterproof membrane that stops water from penetrating into the boot, while still allowing the heat from your feet to escape. This kind-of-a-big-deal boot also utilizes a pre-treated leather upper, that can be reapplied with waterproofing wax/spray to help extend its water repellency.

The Waterproof Boulder Boot is the one shoe that does it all without ever missing a step. You can easily pack it, but you’ll also feel good wearing it everywhere, everyday. And just so you know — this boot was designed with an incredible amount of detail and care, and we can’t wait to see where you go in it.

We recommend ordering UP 1/2 size from your normal US size. If you plan to wear a thicker sock, consider a full size up.

This shoe is available in only one width. It is built on our WIDE Natural-Shape Last. (see image below)

Rain or sun, we’re ready. Not only can you skip along streams and keep your toes dry, you can up the ante on where your travel takes you this winter, thanks to your new favorite pair, complete with a gusseted tongue.

We’ve utilized a 100% full-grain leather with an oiled finish, that is pre-treated to be water repellent. To increase the water-repellency and extend it over the life of the shoe, we suggest using a waterproofing wax such as Otter Wax and reapplying 2-3 times per year.

Our injection blown rubber outsole is what makes Lems incredibly lightweight and flexible. Deemed as the perfect travel companion, this boot can pack down to the size of your favorite puff jacket.

These everyday shoes are some of the lightest on the market. You might be tempted to think you’re not wearing shoes at all, but don’t be fooled; we’ve got your feet covered.

Places the forefoot and heel flat to the ground correcting posture, aligning your spine, and encouraging mid-foot strike.

Whether you prefer your laces loose, or tied up tight, thanks to the gusseted tongue you’ll always be protected from the elements.

Order a full size up, or a size and a half up. Durability is questionable

Very aggravating that they run so small. I figure if most people say they run small, then just change the sizes perhaps? I’m normally an 8 in most shoes. I’ve sized up to a 9 and they are too snug on the front of my toes. I most likely need a 9.5 potentially 10. (I’ve passed the return date) As for durability I was hoping to make them my work boots, but I’m not sure they will last the summer. I do horticulture stuff so I’m hard on shoes. Mostly getting a lot of dirt, and water on them. Lots of kneeling, squatting and such. I’ve been wearing them about 2 months. Idk I think they would be better as not everyday hiking shoes. Or just easy walking shoes. Overall buy if you want the leather boot look for the city. If you get the size that’s right for you they do have nice room in the toes width wise. Idk not sure if I’ll buy another pair. I have a cheap pair of whitins (zero drop, wide toe) I got from Amazon I feel like they are on par with these boots. Considering the substantial price difference I don’t think they are worth it. However I do think they are cute so there’s that.

My fav barefoot shoe! I'll be ordering a second pair!

These are my absolute favourite! Very comfortable, great quality, lightweight/flexible, and the leather will keep your feet warm in the winter but also not too warm for the rest of the year.

I'll be ordering a second pair as my "clean" ones because the ones I have right now I've designated as my muddy shoes. But they're so stylish that I will want them again in the Fall as my nice booties too.

I ordered a size up! I was always size US W7 before I started my barefoot journey but now I need W8. I tried the W7.5 and exchanged them because they were too snug.

    Extremely comfortable

Extremely comfortable, even though I typically have trouble finding shoes that don't hurt my feet. I'm 58, and my feet have lost some protective padding on the soles, so I do plan to add a simple insole to provide more of a cushion. It should also help use up some of the volume in the boots, as my feet aren't very wide (except for the balls of my feet). They are attractive, too. I decided to buy these instead of the regular Boulder boot simply because I like the brown leather instead of the reddish ("russet") color or the original boot. The laces do come untied all by themselves, but the leather has softened enough for me to be able to draw the laces tighter and double knot. I also applied mink oil to condition and protect the leather.

Now I'm just worried that I won't want to wear my other shoes and end up sending Lems all of my money for more shoes... ;)
