Finding boots that are ultra-minimalist, featuring a wide toe box, lightweight form, and zero-drop design is more difficult than locating the infamous Sasquatch…but why?  Where is the minimalist boot that is the natural shape of the human foot; a boot that brings your feet closer to the earth with a barefoot design; a boot so lightweight that it cuts down on ounces more than this week's fad diet; and a boot that has a wide toe box with more open space than the state of Kansas? Well, guess what, Dorothy? Welcome home!

We here at Lems Shoes believe that you don't need to be some environmentalist who survives on organic granola and berries to know that going natural can have its benefits, which is why we bring you the Boulder Boot - a barefoot boot that has all of the natural features you’ve been searching for all while promoting healthy foot development, better balance, increased mobility in the feet, legs, and back AND helps to alleviate certain foot ailments such as bunions and hammer toes. If you're ready for a 9oz boot (W8.5) that can pack down into the smallest of daypacks or carry you on the farthest of Sasquatch searches, then it’s time you rock the Boulder.

    This is a winner 🏆

I went on a long shoe journey and found Lems.

They are flexible, lightweight and super comfortable.

I really like how they designed them to be attractive, structurally balanced for superior foot health, with no heals for correct posture.

Most standard shoes aren't doing your feet any favors.

Important tip I highly recommend is when changing into these types of shoes, you must to go slow to build up your foot muscles* common advertising of "arch support" for standard shoes isn't helping to gain foot strength** do your own research.

I took the risk and bought Boulder boots and went on a 3 mile hike with no breaking in period - crazy I know! I am very active with an athletic build and love hiking in the mountains every chance I get besides working in a warehouse 40 hrs a week, on my feet all day + I'm 64yrs young. Whew!!!

These shoes turned out to be a total delight and made my day pain free and fun. My feet didn't bothering me in the least. Actually I just marveled on the risk I took, paid off well.

I did read many of the reviews. Which gave me faith to begin with.

I got them a half sized up, like recommended. (I wear between a 9.5 - 10, so I ordered a 10.5, which was right for me.) I have bunions, broke one foot twice in the past, plus I have wide feet.

Pretty tough finding regular standard shoes being wide enough and comfortable. And then there was Lems. That little gem to behold in helping my feet stay happy.

Bought these in 2 different colors on my first…

    Almost perfect

I have to wear boots for work but I’m used to hiking in zero drop trail runners and have a metal plate in my fibula so boots are tough for me! Be these are super comfy and fit great. My longest hike in them has been 12 miles. But the tread on the bottom is lackluster. It doesn’t do well on steep trails or mud. If these were redesigned with better tread, I’d buy another pair in a heartbeat.

    Incredibly comfortable!

Super comfortable right off the bat! I took them on a 10 mile technical hike and had zero discomfort. Only issue was the traction on some of the more technical ground (slick rocks and loose dirt) but I can’t hold that against the shoe because I don’t think they’re advertised for that purpose! I would love to see a boulder boot with a deeper tread for more technical hiking!
