With an upper made of 100% organic canvas, our newest edition to the Chukka family was created with cotton grown from natural seeds on a certified organic farm. This farm rules so hard that they only use organic farming practices without the use of pesticides, artificial fertilizers, or other harmful chemicals. The lining? Well that’s made from 100% recycled polyester which came from recycled PET bottles. And, if you’re still not sold on how great these Chukkas are, even the shoelaces are made from recycled material. Believe it or not, your feet are about to get even more vegan-friendly.

But enough about what they’re made of, and let’s get into what they’re made for. Because everyone looks good in black, there’s basically zero scenarios where these wouldn’t enhance your outfit. Whether you’re disconnecting in nature or suiting up for date night, these zero-drop, wide toe box Chukkas are one of the only pairs you’ll need in your wardrobe, besides your other Lems, of course.

RECYCLED MATERIALS

Reducing our carbon footprint, some materials in these Chukkas have already lived one life, and are now ready for you to give them a new one!

VEGAN

These shoes are all about seeing animals in nature, not wearing ‘em. From top to bottom, these bad boys are 100% vegan-friendly.

The day-to-day shouldn’t reak havoc on your back. With a zero-drop platform, your spine will be feeling fine.

WIDE TOE BOX

Squished toes? Not here. Our Chukkas come standard with a toe box almost as wide as the Wyoming sky.

After a year, still going strong!

True fit, ultra roomy toe box, zero drop, and uber comfy. These have been my favorite shoes for the past year, I originally bought them for a six month, one bag travel trip and after 3000+ miles of walking the past year they're just now starting to wear out. I can't recommend these enough.

    comfortable

So cute, simple and comfortable. I did get a size down from what I wear in the boulder boot.

    Please Bring Back Suede

    Dear Lems,

These black canvas Chukkas have a nice sleek look that I’m sure a lot of wearers appreciate. I bought a pair of your brown suede chukkas ~2 years ago, sometime just before you discontinued them.

I wear these shoes 4-5 days a week for work. I work in a cafe setting, and they are the most comfortable, durable, lightweight, protective shoes I’ve ever experienced for a 6-8 hour standing job.

Part of that comfort and functionality (what distinguishes them from your canvas) is that the soft suede doesn’t rub and aggravate the skin on my ankles. (While considering purchasing your canvas chukkas, I’ve seen a considerable number of reviews here and on YouTube, complaining about this problem.) Also, the suede material is water resistant enough to work in a job making and selling drinks.

After nearly two years of heavy use they are very worn, and I know they can’t last forever. I’m posting this review just to ask: Would you please consider bringing your suede chukkas back at the same quality as before?
