Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Just what I needed
As an ER nurse, runner and rock climber I often have tired and worn out feet. It’s common to walk 15,000 steps a shift at my job and then some when I train or climb after/on my days off. These boots are very comfortable, real leather (and waterproof against bodily fluids), ergonomic (wide toe, zero drop) with good lugs on the bottom for traction in water, mud and snow. They fit true to size (I bought 11.5 and wear 11.5 in vans, oofos, hokas, altras). I am satisfied with this purchase and will be a lifetime customer.

They do the trick
Overall I’m happy with them, don’t have a lot of time in them yet but they are comfortable all day, keep my feet dry in dewy morning grass and the wide toe box is really nice. They are replacing my well worn RedBacks of the same style though which is a tough thing to do. I just like to try other stuff from time to time and I’ve been happy with the other LEMS shoes I have.

Thank you for this excellent boot!
This is an almost perfect EMS paramedic boot! I am incredibly happy with this boot, great fit, protection, breathable, and looks smart.
Most EMS duty boots have huge platforms with significant toe drop, causing back and knee pain, this is the best option I've tried, for a zero drop wide fit and comfortable duty boot
The only warning is that on wet slick surfaces the grip is subpar, the Grip sole would be a nice option. I also think this boot would be ideal for one bagging/backpacking
