Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Perfect hikers!
True to size and comfortable. Although I wore them at home to make sure, they didn’t need a breaking in period.

Very Comfortable
These boots are very comfortable, but I'm knocking off one star because I don't feel like they are great hiking boots. I did a five mile hike in them this past weekend up the side of Mount Elbert on a moderate trail, nothing too steep or technical. They fit a bit loose in the heel, so my feet slid forward on the downhill sections, causing my toes to hit the front of the boot. My toenails are fine, but it was just a bit uncomfortable. They are waterproof. I had to walk through a shallow creek, and my feet stayed nice and dry. I absolutely love the wide toe box. They also look good with jeans, legging, hiking pants, etc. I think for easy to moderate trails, they're probably fine. But for more rocky, steep, mountainous hikes, I would look for a more substantial and supportive hiking boot.

Great work boots
I work at a zoo doing exhibit maintenance. So I’m in some unique situations and these boots have been excellent so far. Definitely worth the money for comfort, grip, and style.
