My Toes Are Healing, with Style!
A few years ago, I discovered that I've been microdosing footbinding my whole life, and realized all of the problems that this causes. Finally, I did something about it, by buying my first pair of shoes with a properly-sized toe-box , the Lems Nine2Five. After just a month or so, it's completely changed my life. My toes are healing! The bunion pain is gone! The first couple weeks took some getting used to. I typically walk about 5 miles or so throughout a normal work day, and my calf & shin muscles were exhausted because my feet & toes were actually doing the work of gripping, stretching, & flexing instead of just passively accepting punishment & cramping. After a while, I adapted and now my legs and feet are stronger than ever, and my toes have a beautiful splay.
This has made such a difference that I threw away all my old pointy shoes and bought several more pairs of Lems for various occasions outside of work. I absolutely love them all.
And no: no one has commented on the different appearance of having a wide toe box. Turns out, people have their own troubles in life and aren't looking down at your shoes. Even if they did, I couldn't care less, with how much better I feel. The only reason we think pointy-toed shoes look normal is because we've been conditioned to think that. Once people realize that human-shaped shoes are superior, we'll become accustomed to how they look.

Decent but
The shoes so far seem to be of decent quality and put together well. Problem I’m having is the shoes sole and insole squeak loudly on every step.
