The Outlanders with their waterproof uppers and 4mm deep lugs will give you incredible traction, whether you’re snowshoeing through mountain powder or trudging through mucky slush in town. Live somewhere very wet (we’re looking at you PNW)? The gusseted tongue keeps the tongue completely attached to the boot, preventing moisture and debris from coming inside the shoe. We also took the same breathable, waterproof liner from the Waterproof Boulder Boot to keep water out so your feet stay dry and warm.

A spacious toe box coupled with a zero-drop platform will have your feet dancing on the trail, because these natural foot-shaped hiking boots allow you to move in proper alignment, just as nature intended.

Now, for the toughest decision of all: Which colorway will you choose? Evergreen, Blue Steel, or Iceberg? All three are beauties designed with inspiration from Mother Nature herself.

FULL RUBBER OUTSOLE WITH ZIG-ZAG SIPING

This brand new, sticky rubber outsole incorporates 4mm deep lugs for incredible traction on snow, mud, and everywhere in-between! The built in zig-zag grooves (siping) provide additional biting edges to cut into ice/snow and helps ground your feet in slippery situations.

100% WATERPROOF UPPER

With its fully waterproof membrane and gusseted tongue, the Outlander will keep your feet dry and warm, especially after a day on the slopes or slogging through slush on your way to the bar!

ZERO-DROP

Places the forefoot and heel close to the ground correcting posture, aligning your spine, and encouraging mid-foot strike.

WIDE TOE BOX

Unlike traditional footwear that squeeze the toes together, our foot-shaped toe box allows for maximum room giving the toes ultimate freedom to wiggle and spread.

Not sth as I have looked for

The toe box is not wide enough and my toes touch the sides of the boots (I don’t have big toes). Like my other boots, half a size larger instead of one size larger I got should be enough. My toes still touch the side with the roomy one size up anyway.

The grip is not okay when my feet slide forward especially with slippery metal surfaces. So the boot does not meet my hiking boots standards. Lems definitely needs to further invest on the design of the outsole or use better materials.

I normally adjust the lace so that I can tie the boots tight without getting cramps. As I only adjusted it for my right foot which has higher volume, my left foot did cramp in a 2-hr walk. Feet getting in and out was not an issue to me and the water proof worked on the first use.

Overall, will need to look for another pairs next time.

Cute, comfy, but a little short

I have given these boots a run for their money in the first few months of owning them. The waterproofing is real, at least so far. I can stand in water and my feet stay dry. I think they’re above average cute, and the grip on rock or gravel is excellent. The ankle support is just right. They also seem durable and well made, except for the truly frustrating laces that routinely come untied- but those can be replaced. Despite being immersed in mud, they also easily rinse clean. My feet are wide 11s and the width is great, however i find they run short and I almost sent them back. It’s better after some breaking in but still not perfect. Consider sizing up a half size, despite the Lems narrative that says to order your regular size.

    Happy I bought them

I have absolutely loved my shoes. It was a little work for me to figure out the size as I have leg braces but Lauren has been so helpful in the process! Easy exchanging process. Went hiking & was able to see the difference between these shoes and regular shoes. LOVE my choice! My ratings of course will be for my situation only. Wouldn’t know how a regular size would be.
