Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. Great fit for an ol flat footed guy!
Wearing for tough kitchen demo & renovation work, walking the dog in sub-zero weather, stepping in dogshit and stepping out for casual stuff too. I have had in the past and continue to have some serious issues with my feet and finding shoes that work, these work for me, I wore out my last pair of lems boulder boot black vegan, only took about ten years! I had to go up one size from 13 to 14!

Boots for outside around the house
These boots feel bigger and stiffer than other Lems but they are boots, not sneakers. They are much lighter and much more flexible than the Grundens that they are replacing. They have extra space around the top of my foot and ankle even with thick socks but that's okay because I want them to be easy to put on and take off. I can put them on and take them off with one hand. I only wear them when outside around my house during the winter when it's wet and muddy and so far they are serving that purpose well. The toebox width is good but the midfoot width feels tight because I have no arches. I can feel the shoe pressing into the area where my arches should be but it's not arch support, it's just the shoe not being wide enough. Lems and other barefoot shoe companies should offer a wide size.
