Nearly perfect boot.
I purchased this boot nearly a year ago, and I'm getting ready to purchase my second pair. As a die-hard barefoot shoe wearer who happens to work in forestry and trail maintenance, these boots checked almost every box for me. Like every other review says, they are unbelievably comfortable and make me forget that I'm wearing them. They are also quite waterproof, and I did not have to re-oil them very often. The "Summit" tread could be more aggressive, but it did its job most of the time. I only have one real gripe with this boot, and that is durability. After three full seasons of wear for hiking, cutting trees, building trails, and more, they have almost completely fallen apart. I understand that being pseudo-barefoot boots inherently means that they're going to be less durable than standard work boots, but I think that Lems has the opportunity to fill a specific niche here. Other brands that make barefoot hiking shoes or boots suffer the same pitfall of lackluster durability, and that is fine because it's the tradeoff we make, and it's worthwhile. However, there aren't many work-ready barefoot boots out there (aside from Bearfoot brand, which are a little pricey for my taste), and I think others like me could benefit from an upgrade in durability for this boot.
But I digress, it's an excellent boot, and I'm buying another pair anyway.

Best boots I’ve ever worn.
They fit just right, they snug up tight enough to run and climb in but still allow enough wiggle room for your toes to spread. The break-in period was only about a week of all day wearing and they never were uncomfortable during that period. Over-all, my favorite boot so far.

Love the comfort - a little tricky to break in
I absolutely love the comfort and overall fit of these boots. The only issue is I've had some problems with where/how the leather breaks across one of my feet. Leather is funny, so it is probably just a hide issue. But it is taking me a bit longer than expected to get these comfortable. But overall I'd be happy to recommend and buy them again.
