Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

THE BEST!
Absolutely! These are my favorite boots! I'm a 57-year-old woman who works for a solar company. I've been doing zero drop shoes for the past eight years and these boots are amazing! I walk in average of 7 miles a day during my working day over rough terrain and muddy conditions. I'm on my second pair. My feel feel so good at the end of the day! The only downfall is that they do not make a safety toe version of these boots. The company I work for has just made it mandatory that safety toed boots must be worn. I have tried to find a pair of zero drop, wide toe box safety boots with a flexible sole, to no avail. It's like trying to fine the Holy Grail !Every one of I tried have caused me such foot pain that I currently am working with out safety boots in favor of my boulder boots, with the threat of being sent home for 3 days if I'm caught without safety shoes. So please consider possibly manufacturing a pair for those of us that love your boots but require a safety toed boot. I would be more than happy to be your guinea pig when testing out any version you could possibly come up with! LOVE, LOVE these boots!

Love my boots
Although I haven’t taken them on the trail as of yet, my boots are very comfortable and feel as if already broken in. The barefoot feel is the best! I wear a solid 7.5 shoe in Keen and Born shoes so this is what I ordered. Winter wear might be a little snug if I doubled up on socks but one good pair of thicker socks will work. I find my boots true to size and couldn’t be happier.

Danged Cute!
I can't love these enough! It's like being comfortably barefoot. My gait has changed drastically and for the better! Being at the age that I am, I was beginning to have balance issues when walking and I've discovered that the feeling of "falling forward" or tottering, that I experienced in my old shoes, doesn't exist in the Boulder Boots. Walking is a pleasure again! The toe box is perfect for wearing toe spacers also. Not to mention that I think this style is danged cute!
