Fans of the Boulder Boot are in for a treat, because its new lower-cut cousin has arrived! Built on the same outsole, the Chillum is a lace-up kicking-around-town and enjoying-a-drink-with-good-friends kind of shoe. We incorporated several different materials, to provide texture, breathability, durability and maximum comfort. This is the first Lems shoe that utilizes wool and we’re happy dance excited about that! We think you will be, too.

Imagine that your favorite boot (the Boulder Boot, obviously) went to the salon, got a drastic cut, and came out looking as fab as ever. That’s the Chillum. Like the Boulder Boot, the Chillum is a lightweight, zero-drop shoe with the same wide toe box and flexibility you love.

Each colorway features canvas in the front and wool in the back. Varsity Blue and Spruce incorporate a slick suede accent that lines the outsole, whereas Blackjack is lined with a vegan microfiber for those of you looking for more of an earth-friendly option. Like the Boulder Boot Mid, we incorporated a cork layer footbed that you can remove for extra wiggle room, or leave as is if you fancy a little more cushioning!

Chillum Sizing

New to Lems? We find that our Chillums run a bit short if you are used to more traditional style shoes with a pointed toe box. Due to the wide, rounded toe box, you may find that you need to go up a half size from your normal size. As with all of our shoes, we recommend that customers have about a thumb’s width of room (approximately 1-1.3 cm) in front of their toes to allow for adequate space for your feet to spread out into the toe box. Please note that our sizing charts take into account already having this space so if you decide to measure your feet and the size is larger than you are used to it is because we are factoring in this extra space.
