Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

love them
I use a shoe horn because of a great toe that doesn’t flex. They slip on easily. I can feel the ground under my feet and they look like new after the rain.

Great until they weren't
I have been in love with my Lems Chelsea Waterproof Boots. I've never owned anything like them and thought I would just use them for a farming adventure I was doing, but then I found I wanted to wear them all the time. Easy to put on/take off, comfortable for walking (not hiking, though), and they were waterproof ... for a while. They just turned a year old and they are no longer waterproof, the tread on the bottom is wearing out, and they look quite worn. It's true I've worn them a great deal, but for the price and the hype I thought they'd last more than a year. Good boots but I'm not sure about the value, given they probably need replacing already.

Love these Chelsea boots
I love these boots! More comfortable than blundstones. I use them for horseback riding, since I haven’t found anything that is like a riding boot that is barefoot. They don’t go through my stirrup, and I can get my spurs on them, and they are nice when I am walking in them. Love them! I sized up, glad I did as they seem like they would be a bit short.
