Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Please bring them back!
I love my pair of boots that I bought just as they were getting discontinued. I bought true to size because a half size up was out of stock and wouldn't get stocked again and I love them even though my toes hit the end of the boot. Please bring back the nylon boulder boot, there is no real replacement on the market!

DO NOT DISCONTINUE!!!!
This is the only reason I started wearing barefoot shoes. These I buy once a year for my job as a maintenance worker and I absolutely love them in ever way. I cannot believe with such success there is any reason to stop making them unless Lems is going bankrupt like so many companies these days and can’t afford to manufacture them. I would literally buy these on a subscription plan…unbelievable I can’t anymore. Extremely disappointed. 5 stars for the shoe. 0 stars who whoever decided to stop making it.

Sad to see them go
These exceeded my expectations in every way. Super comfortable boot. I wear them every day working in the construction industry. I have literally hundreds of miles in these shoes and they're very comfortable. The soles are starting to finally come off of the uppers after over a year of daily use and the bottoms are completely smooth. I came back to get another pair of the same shoes and they're closing them out and discontinuing the boot. Bummer, but I'm hooked, now I'll have to find a different one to try.
