My 4th pair
This is my fourth pair of Lems. I purchased my first pair on the advice of my Pilates instructor who suggested Lems because they have a wide toe box. I purchased the Primal Zen in leather. I was thrilled that they fit with toe spacers and there was no break in period. These fit just as well and will be my go to summer shoes.

Love them, but they do run small
I bought these because I have a couple pairs of
Lems boots that I love. Plenty of room for my toes and super durable sole. I do a number on shoes walking the dog on pavement daily and I’m hopeful these will be long lasting.

Great sneaker!
I ordered a size up on these, to accommodate socks, and the fit was better but I feel the toe box is still too cramped., at least for my personal preference. It may stretch a bit with wear? This is my 4th pair of Lems and it's true for all the styles except the sandals, obviously. I could take out the cork foot bed but as an older person, I really need the cushioning. I also find they hit a bit high on my ankle. This also may stretch out with wear. But overall, these shoes, as all the pairs I own, are well-made, very high quality and comfortable.

Trying something new
It took a few days of wearing these 2 hours, then the next day 4 hours, and so on. I can now wear these all day comfortably. I wound up buying the dark blue, which I like very much, but summer is coming, and I wish they would offer a mid to light grey option. I don't like to wear white shoes up here in New England. And I would love a mid-grey option for the fall as well. Black is fine for winter. I am able to slip my orthotics into these shoes without taking out the inner padding, but I did have to go up a half size. It's also great that these shoes do not have any supportive arch built in because I can then insert my own orthotics to provide my own arch needs. Toes have lots of spread out, wiggle room. I would also love to have a low rise boot in this style (with laces and with the slight cushioning). Having to use orthotics necessitates having laces for widening the top of the foot.
