Not Disappointed
I've had multiple pairs of boulder boots. So I had high expectations for the trail thrasher. I got it for mountain biking and hiking and it fulfils both very well with comfort and confidence inducing traction.

Excellent Shoe
I have five other pairs of Lems so I was excited to see what they would do with a mountain bike shoe. It's the best fitting mountain bike shoe I have ever worn. Not quite up to the grip of my Five Tens so they will primarily be used on less technical mountain bike rides and on my road and gravel bike rides. I have flats on all my bikes. Highly recommend these. I need to order another pair to put on the shelf in my closet for when these wear out.

Great. Small catch on these though.
Ive reviewed my lems shoes with nothing but praise. They are truly amazing. I have to give these a five star because they are so much better than the other shoe companies I transitioned away from. But,this pair is not quite as comfortable as the other 4 I bought. It has a stiffer feel. Its really a trade off and more of a feature than a bug I think. They seem a little more heavy duty than the more flexible pairs that I bought. But I find these a little more difficult to wear all day. I think they are better for just how they are advertising them, trail hiking and outdoor environments where you need more protection. They are warm and spacious in the width but the toe box just isn't as flexible in the step and I feel a slight compression on the top of the foot when I step. Its just an assessment and not a complaint. These are excellent for me but they have a particular use case. I cant wear them all day every day but if im going out in the snow for example, im sporting these. Lems are the absolute best shoes I've ever had.
