LOVE THESE BOOTS!
I received my boots very quickly, the night of the first big snowstorm of the season on the Front Range of the Colorado Rockies. Put them on and tried them out tromping up inclines and running across the flat lawn. The zipper never slipped and neither did I. The next day getting in and out of my warm car and stepping through mounds of snow and slush and even a bit of ice didn’t faze me. The toe box is generous, the boot comes up high enough to not worry about getting snow inside, the zipper is a genius addition for putting on the boots quickly and taking them off easily so I didn’t have to bring the snow inside with me. No trouble with the zipper slipping once it was locked down and I love how the sides of the zipper almost seal together around the teeth. I wore socks that came above the tops of the boots so didn’t notice any rubbing issues. I walked through a few inches of snow with no problem. The traction is better than any other high-quality boot I have owned. Not naming names, but this is the BEST!

Much warmer than my other Lems shoes
These are great for the winter so far. They are much warmer than any of my other Lems styles.
My only complaint is that the zipper does not stay up, and the laces are very slippery, and require a surgeon style knot to stay tied.

Lems hiking winter boots
Very warm, comfortable, wide enough to wear with toe separators for bunions. Love the side zipper! I wear them for hikes, walking around outside and traveling on the plane-easy to take them off and on.
