VERY COMFORTABLE
I used these shoes on my home town trails before I took them on the AT. Prior, I was wearing the LOWA Renegades for the past 20 years. In comparison, the LOWA is more durable. The LEMS are more comfortable. The LEMS have no toe guard to protect from rock or root damage. I had to apply FLEX SEAL to the tips of the LEMS because the toe seam was coming apart after over a month of hiking at home. With my modified fix, I took the LEMS on a 20 mile hike on the AT in Georgia. The hike included the Blood Mountain Trail. The LEMS were very comfortable. My feet stayed dry during the wet hike too. Most importantly, my fix helped with durability. I suggest LEMS shoes add a toe guard to this shoe.
