If you’ve been holding your breath for us to release a Boulder Boot style that can properly tackle the trails, you can go ahead and release that breath. Now take another, and another, because you’ll be huffing and puffing up and over mountains and along stretches of dirt and rock in your spiffy Boulder Summit boots. Rain? Mud? Snow? Sleet? No matter, these boots are fully waterproof and will keep those feet dry despite what Mother Nature throws your way.

The Boulder Summit combines the minimalist features of the Boulder Boot with the outsole of the Outlander. This means these boots offer substantial grip without weighing you down, flexibility as you navigate uneven terrain, and the wide toe box means ample space for your toes to spread out fully. The rubber outsole incorporates 4mm deep lugs and zig-zag grooves for superb traction in even the most slippery situations.

Available in Rugged Bark and Coal - a full-grain, oiled leather, which can be reconditioned overtime to retain its best waterproofing - and Nitro - a fully waterproof Nylon and vegan-friendly option.

FULL RUBBER OUTSOLE WITH ZIG-ZAG SIPING

This sticky rubber outsole incorporates 4mm deep lugs for incredible traction on snow, mud, and everywhere in-between! The built in zig-zag grooves (siping) provide additional biting edges to cut into ice/snow and helps ground your feet in slippery situations.

100% WATERPROOF UPPER

With its fully waterproof membrane and gusseted tongue, the Boulder Summit will keep your feet dry and warm, especially after a day on the slopes or slogging through slush on your way to the bar!

ZERO-DROP

Places the forefoot and heel close to the ground correcting posture, aligning your spine, and encouraging mid-foot strike.

WIDE TOE BOX

Unlike traditional footwear that squeeze the toes together, our foot-shaped toe box allows for maximum room giving the toes ultimate freedom to wiggle and spread.

    First time buyer, lifetime customer.

Black- 6.5 /True to size. Purchased my first pair of hiking boots and took a risk by not testing them before taking a trip to Washington. I hiked several miles without any discomfort or issues. The shoe fits as if they were custom-made and tailored to my specific feet. I was so impressed with Lem’s footwear that I purchased a second pair of-women’s outlander waterproof boot/iceberg. Although I had a great experience with the product, I did email customer service reading an issue/request and never heard back from a representative. Overall, great boot, well made, worth every penny.

    Great boots!

I wear barefoot shoes, but they are cold in the winter because the sole is too thin. Boulder Summit is great for colder weather – these boots are immediately comfortable, roomy and warm. I haven’t worn them above -6°C yet, but so far they are very good. I took half a size bigger than I usually wear.

    The Best Mid-Duty Work Boot

The best work boot I've ever had. A few years ago I had a broken ankle with a decent amount of soft tissue damage, these boots were a lifesaver! I can work long hours on my feet, both inside and outside, with virtually no restriction or pain.

Great in most weather (needs heavier socks in winter, and can get toasty in the summer) and are reasonably breathable. Never had an issue with the waterproofing even after being used during the salty winter (I'm sure they'd hold up even better with way more TLC than I give mine). They break in very quickly with a surprisingly flexible sole. Laces and tongue are comfortable and give lots of room for a more customized fit.

Cons? The tread wears out quickly, so they either need to be resoled or retired within a year of moderate to heavy wear. Would love the option of a tougher boot with a composite toe (or even a rubber bumper) for those whom are required to wear them or need more toe protection. The tread is too aggressive for lots of use on a ladder and you need tough feet when using a shovel, but that's not really what they are intended for so I can't fault the boot at all.
