Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Happy feet
Third pair of Lems boots, finally got the right size. Full size up from regular street wear shoes, my toes are totally unencumbered, free to stretch. I prefer a roomier fit in the toes so my big toe is about a pointer finger width from the tip of the boot. No heel slip at all. This will allow for thicker socks when needed too. These boots are very comfy, very clean and sharp looking. Easy on, easy off. Looking forward to breaking these in and establishing a more weathered look on the leather. Lems doesn't disappoint.

These boots are so comfy right from the get go. No break in needed. I wear a 9.5 wide (New Balance sizing) so I ordered a 10 based on my past Lems purchases. The fit was perfect. I've been wearing them with medium thickness socks (not thick hiking socks) and the fit is prefect. I did not need the included soles to adjust fit, but it's greatly appreciated they offer it to customize the fit. I was worried about the faux fur, but it's not super intrusive and they're hidden under my pants and offer an additional cushion around my legs. These are my fourth pair of lems and they really are great for us hobbit footed people. All hail the Lems.....LEMS! LEMS! LEMS!
