The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

proper size
'Middle Age Man!' my feet have gone from a size 10.5 US to an 11 in the past decade to now an 11.5 in the past yr, and have always been a bit Wide. Forgetting this, I had originally ordered 11's in a few different models. I LOVE the natural wide arcing shape-contour to the foot. But after wearing them around the house, my toes just never seemed to get comfortable, even wore a pair out to see if they'd loosen up a bit at all, but never did. So after returning the unworn pair and getting replacements a 1/2 size up (which went So smoothly and Easily, GREAT Job Customer Service!! can't say that to often much any more..), they feel Way better in the toes. But the sole seems off now under foot, the arch bridge is a little forward. Wondering if I need to go back to a smaller insole.. But all in all, wish I had remember to try this shoe company out long ago when I first learned about them, probably would have gone through a few pairs by now. Loving the Light Weight airy feel and just so much comfort in the step, as well they seem to be petty good quality, but if anyone can find faults, it'l be me.. And if the Water Proof ends up failing, I will let you Know ASAP! Also, starting to wish they made more of a sneaker/running shoe too. I'd give a full 5stars if the insole felt more centered
