One year review - great boots
I love these booths. There is just something about them that makes them a pleasure to wear. I've had them for a little over a year now. I've taken them on hiking trips to Iceland and Switzerland, and I've worn them when doing yard work. There is a flexibility to the boots that combined with the wide toe box just makes them so easy to walk/hike around it. The waterproofing has held up well...they aren't the most breathable things in the world, but toss on a pair of wool socks and you'll be fine. The only thing I had to change are the laces. The laces they come with are very nice quality but are SUPER slippery....its hard to get a good cinch which can cause your foot to slide on downhills. I replaced them with a nice waxy set of laces and haven't had an issue since.
