Designed with your feedback in mind, this latest iteration maintains many of the signature features of the Primal 2, such as a zero-drop platform and wide toe box, while also introducing exciting enhancements.

The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot. It has a wider heel and midfoot to distribute your weight more evenly. The Primal 3 still utilizes our signature IBR outsole for a lightweight, flexible feel!

With fit and feel in mind, we've listened to your feedback and made the Primal 3 available in half sizes, because when it comes to comfort, we believe every inch counts!

Speaking of comfort, our new recycled PU insole takes things up a notch. At 4.5mm thick, its breathable materials ensures comfort in every step.

    Perfect for me!

    I was worried about going to a barefoot fit shoe. But these are still comfortable and substantial. I'm really loving them. They were a little more expensive than I usually spend but worth it for the benefits.

    Comfortable shoes, even though I have a bunion!

    I suffer from a bunion and the LEMS Women's Primal 3 were comfortable right from the start! No break-in period needed. I wore them on a 3-mile hike over uneven terrain at Devil's Lake State Park in Wisconsin, on my second time wearing them, and they were very comfortable.

    I do not have a store that sells LEMS nearby, so I ordered online. LEMS recommends ordering two sizes. I should have done that. I have a Morton's Toe (second toe is longer than my big toe) and I usually wear size 8. I felt that I should try the 8.5. I ordered the 8.5 and found that size to be more comfortable. Returning the other pair was easy.

    I ordered two more pairs of LEMS: Women's Primal Eco and Women's Laguna. Love them all.

    I highly recommend LEMS shoes! They are super comfortable and the company was easy to work with.
