Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Bought for biking
I switched to barefoot shoes, but wanted something woth a stiffer sole for long rides on flat pedals. Additionally, i ride fixed gear woth toe clips and straps and wanted something that i would feel so much on top of my foot. These were the perfect shoe for these purposes. It is stiffer than the other barefoot shoes i have used and the and i no longer feel the straps on top of my foot when using toe clips and straps. The wide toe box is essential for me and these are wide enough. Zero drop as well. It has most of the elements of a proper barefoot shoe, but bridges the gap for scenarios where a little stiffness in the sole could be usefule.

Not wide enough
I have WIDE feet (bunions, etc), and these were slightly too narrow to wear comfortably for any length of time. I like the feel on the bottom of my feet, but they were too tight. Too bad - I was looking forward to having another brand I could comfortably wear.
I would recommend these to a friend without the foot problems I have.
