Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Perfect slip on!
I absolutely adore a good slip on shoe during the summer. I typically have pretty warm feet but in these shoes I didn’t get sweaty feet, even sock free! I love the feel of the cork bottom. I have mountain shaped, med volume feet. Had to exchange for a smaller size and that was super easy! Whole experience was on point.

New favorite
Wow is all I can say. This is one of my favorite shoes. Some days I want a little extra cushion as I often wear very minimal shoes. These are flexible and light and spacious in the toe box but offer such a comfy footbed - I love them! While not crazy thick or squishy- for me they feel like clouds. Highly recommend and hope they keep this model. Zero slipping on the heel- no rubbing anywhere. Simple and cute and well made. I sized up at first and ended up swapping back down. For reference my primal 2 in same size are a wee bit shorter and I wear them without the insole. This model the size up was too big so I ordered 8.5 (same as my primal 2) and they are perfection. So while I often need 1/2 size bigger in this model I do not.
