Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Nice shoe, mostly comfortable
I like this shoe. I like the color. I'm not sure if I need a different size because, at first, it was a little loose on my foot, but after adjusting the shoe laces, everything worked out. It is a comfortable shoe when walking. However, it rubs on the back of my foot (minimally) and there's a seam inside that rubs the top of my foot below the toes where your foot bends. Other than those two things, the shoe is nice.
It seems to work better with socks, but it looks great without. You just have to worry about the rubbing from those two areas, which didn't cause any irritation; it just reminded you they're there. I wear a 9.5 in sneakers, and I ordered a 9.5 in these shoes. My normal shoe size is 8.5, but once you start working your feet out, they swell. At least, that's what I was told by a sneaker seller.
A 9.5 was recommended and I've been wearing them since. These shoes are about one size up. So, I've ordered all of them a 9.5. The fitting has been great. The shoes fit and wear well. I don't take stars off because the shoes wear well and are comfortable, just what I wanted and expected.
