Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Best Lem's Boots to Date
I was so excited to hear about this collab. and to be able to buy from the second round of releases. These boots fit like a dream and are very well constructed. I’m going to recommend these boots to all my friends and family. I love the look and feel of them. I think all the right choices were made when coming up with the final details pored into this boot.

Almost perfect
Overall a good boot! Would have been great if there was a set of speed hooks for the top two laces. I’m old and the bend over isn’t as flexible as it used to be, it takes some extra effort to loosen the laces enough to get these boots on and off, then I have to tighten everything back down where it needs to be. My only other ding would be that the tongue isn’t gusseted. Not a deal killer, but for a hiking boot I prefer a gusset on the tongue. Everything else about this boot is spot on; sizing, comfort, quality all get top marks. The only reason it’s not a perfect boot is the missing speed hooks for the lacing.
