My Favorite Boot!
I’ve always struggled to find hiking boots that remain comfortable, especially as the miles increase on long days. These boots deliver! I just returned from 20 days touring and hiking in Patagonia. I wore these boots every day. They were super comfortable whether traversing the paved streets, riding 8+ hours on a plane or tackling the Laguna de Los Tres (14.5 miles). The boots held up well and remained waterproof through stream crossings, hikes in steady rain and intermittent rain and sea spray on trips in the Magellan Straights. I’m relatively new to LEMS and bought these earlier this year. I tested these boots rucking(40 lb pack) and on some of the lower elevation trails during the first months of 2026. I do wish this waterproof version was available with the vibram sole however I’ll continue wearing and testing to see how the current sole performs. So very happy I found LEMs and this model boot.

Amazing Look, Fit, and Feel
I’m always skeptical about buying shoes online but got a good recommendation from a friend. I took a gamble and it paid off.
They were a bit tight around the mid because I got wide hobbit feet but I knew they would break in. Once they did, it was like the shoe was meant for my feet. I love the wide toe box. The soles feels great as I walk. The transition from tradition shoe to zero drop was good and painless. I’m doing six miles rucks on them and my feet feel great so far.
Please, please, please do not change or discontinue this product! It’s one of the best shoes I’ve ever put on my feet.

Good shoe
Very comfortable from day 1. I've hiked in them on some very difficult trails. Great traction even on wet rocks and roots. Stayed dry wading through puddles and shallow streams.
Will have to see how durable they are over time.
My only complaint so far is the outer leather has a suede like texture, so they hold dirt and look dirty all the time.
