Met een bovenwerk van 100% organisch canvas is onze nieuwste telg in de Chukka familie gemaakt van katoen dat gekweekt is uit natuurlijke zaden op een gecertificeerde organische boerderij. Deze boerderij is zo streng dat ze alleen biologische landbouwpraktijken gebruiken zonder pesticiden, kunstmest of andere schadelijke chemicaliën. De voering? Die is gemaakt van 100% gerecycled polyester dat afkomstig is van gerecyclede PET-flessen. En als je nog steeds niet overtuigd bent hoe geweldig deze Chukka's zijn, zelfs de veters zijn gemaakt van gerecycled materiaal. Geloof het of niet, maar je voeten worden nog veganistischer.

You know that feeling where you just want to take off your shoes at the end of the day?
I don't think I've ever had a pair of shoes that I didn't want to take off immediately when I got home at the end of a day. I've been a die-hard Vans. Slip-on wearer over 20 years. The sole thickness and feeling when you're walking over gravel or rocks is comparable to those. But the room in the toe box makes all the difference with these chuckas.
I'm knocking one star off because the collar around the ankle is pretty aggressive and I notice it when I'm walking. I can't wait for the next version of these when they address that issue.
Plus the tread on these shoes looks like gravel rally car tires. So my shoes match my race car. That's pretty cool. I wear 11 and 1/2 Vans slips and the chukkas 11.5 fit perfect.
