TRAILHEAD VS. MESA: WAT IS HET VERSCHIL?

Back to Men's Outdoor Trail Shoes & Boots

✕

RUGGED UPPER

The upper is made of durable materials that stand up to the abuses of trails, and also daily wear and tear.

MOUNTAIN-TO-TOWN OUTSOLE

Engineered with a low profile rubber tread that combines the best of both worlds: ample traction on trails, AND excellent durability on pavement.

LOW HEEL DROP

With 4mm of drop, compared to the traditional 12mm of drop, the Trailhead naturally decreases heel-striking for a more natural gait and healthier posture.

FIRM CUSHIONING

When your foot is on too soft of cushion, you end up with pain and discomfort. We've formulated a firm EVA midsole that'll keep your feet happy all day long.

Reviews Summary

Customers say these shoes are exceptionally comfortable and versatile for everyday wear, hiking, and outdoor activities. The wide toe box and lightweight design appeal to many users, with several becoming repeat buyers. Most reviews emphasize sizing runs small—ordering a half to full size up is consistently recommended. While many praise durability and all-day comfort, some note the toe box feels narrower than expected or experience tightness during break-in. Traction and grip perform well on various surfaces, and the shoes work for both casual and professional settings.

great shoe but sizing is off from earlier version
i love the color and comfort of these shoes... except that they are about 1/4" shorter than my previous pair of the same model, in the same size. I'm hoping they will stretch enough to be truly comfortable, but disappointed that the sizing is not consistent.

Versatile
Comfortable out of the box. Short trips and long walks have been equally enjoyable. Only a couple weeks in, so we’ll see how they perform over the long haul.

Overall great shoe.
My husband has been wearing Lems for about 4 years now and he will never stop. He loves the durability, comfort and look. He is super picky, so that speaks volumes! Great shoe, worth every penny.
