Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Very comfortable
I’m in the process of transitioning to zero drop shoes. I’m wearing this pair for a week now and it’s really comfortable. I have high arches and very painful plantar fasciitis and I must say that I haven’t been suffering as much. The wide tie box is awesome. This has more padding because I am having heel pain from my plantar fasciitis. So I needed more cushioning. Hoping being pain free is sustained. I’m a believer.

FANTASTIC SHOES
I struggle to find shoes that allow my arthritic toe to be comfortable during my long walks.
At long last, I have found the shoe PRIMAL ZEN, thanks to LEMS.
Plus, the customer service and support have been outstanding, fantastic, and FABULOUS.

Great Shoe!
I have really bad achilles tendonitis but all I had were barefoot shoes with no cushion whatsoever. Lems were the first minimalist shoes I ever wore and so I decided it was time to return to them. The Primal Zen has a zero drop and wide toe box and offers the cushion I need to protect my heels. These are one of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn and they look great! I would love to see them in pure white also. Shout out to Connor for the consistently excellent service! I want to add that I have purchased six pairs of Lems over the years (with many more to come!) and have been really happy with every single pair!
