Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Love the way my feet feel!
Straight out of the box, these shoes did not require breaking in. They are marvelous, light, minimal, and cloud like. I walked a parade in them within a few days of getting them and my feet felt great the whole day. Also worked a couple of outdoor events the following weekend and they held up beautifully. No flat toe feeling ever! Comfy and ample toe box that’s also well ventilated/breathable so no hot feet. Honestly, my new go-to. Would absolutely recommend!

Never thought I'd be able to buy shoes online.
My whole life, I have had to try on shoes. Usually every shoe in every size in the women's department, then give up and start trying on the men's shoes. And then, usually leave the store empty-handed, or end up buying something that doesn't really fit. I don't wear dresses or skirts because I can't wear the shoes that go with them.
I hate shopping for shoes more than I hate going to the dentist or eating lima beans.
But along came Lems. I tried on two pairs, different sizes and types. One pair fit perfectly (like walking on clouds, etc), the other I sent back and traded for a second pair of the one that fit. Excellent customer service, speedy turnaround.
Lems will be my shoes from now on.

Cute shoes but there isn’t enough height in them for my feet, even with the cork insole taken out. I ordered my correct size based on the size chart but they were still too narrow, and these are supposedly their widest fit. I really didn’t notice how ill fitting these were on my feet until I took them for a walk outside so of course now I can’t return them. After just one 3mi/1hr walk around my neighborhood (walking on sidewalk) the bottom of the shoe was already wearing down and almost fraying at some spots by the ball of my foot. Not the best quality for $130 shoes. Super bummed they aren’t what I was hoping for. It was a gamble for me getting these since I really needed to walk in them to test them out and the return policy is clear.
