FULL RUBBER OUTSOLE WITH ZIG-ZAG SIPING
This sticky rubber outsole incorporates 4mm deep lugs for incredible traction on snow, mud, and everywhere in-between! The built in zig-zag grooves (siping) provide additional biting edges to cut into ice/snow and helps ground your feet in slippery situations.

Love these, they are warm and so so comfortable. I love how flexible they are, and that I can feel how my feet are contacting the ground while also still being cushioned enough and warm. With my scarpas I was finding my back and hips would get sore and my right foot with inevitably get crampy. No issues of that kind with these boots so far. I did buy a half size up and don't regret it.

So far I have done quite a bit of walking in these boots. They are comfortable and do not hurt my feet. I noticed that they kept my feet warm which is important to me with a medical condition I have. The first day I wore them I felt like the tall ankle part was a bit stiff and noticeable. They have quickly become more comfortable and flexible. Now I don't notice the boot at all. Lacing the boot takes longer than expected but not a problem. I think these boots would be too warm for summer but great for the rest of the year here in Michigan.
