Exactly what I've been lookin for, BUT...
These are ALMOST what I've been searching for. They are leather, waterproof, wide toe box, zero drop, and appear to be very well made. However, the heel is too wide and I have significant heel slippage just walking in the house. (I have duck shaped feet with wide forefront and more narrow heel). Because there are no hooks on these boots, I cannot remedy this with lacing techniques. This boot needs hooks for the top 3-4 eyelets and then, it would be an excellent boot where fit can be adjusted. If you have a foot that exactly fits the design, they would be great. Unfortunately for me, they have to go back.

The Perfect Boot!
I have been searching for a long time for the perfect barefoot boot for off-grid life. I had looked at Lems before but had a hard time justifying the cost. I'm retired and on Social Security. My previous barefoot shoes, never meant for what I put them through, finally blew out, and the Summit went on sale at the same time. That was a clear indication to me to buy them now or never buy them at all.
The moment I put them on, they felt a little snug; I took out the insole, and that made them perfect. I love that there was no break-in period. I do wish there were 2 or 3 speed hooks on the top, but I'll muddle through until they make that happen.

Instant comfort
These boots run true to size and instantly wear like a nicely broken in boot. They are comfortable, light weight, expansive toe box and have nice grip. And they are indeed waterproof. An excellent choice for everyday wear.
