The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Solid, supportive boot
My husband loves these. He wore Lems Boulder regular boots for two years and replaced with these Grip boots. He reported they are super comfortable and supportive out of the box. He has a bit of a wide foot, and this boot has plenty of room.

Amazing all around Boot!
I've owned these boots for almost 2 years. These boots are quite honestly perfect. Excellent waterproofing, grip, style, and execution. I wanted a light leather boot that could withstand all climates and these have been great in snow or summer! (I would suggest two pairs of socks for heavy snow) I have to apply a fresh coat of conditioner/oil, but these will last a while if taken care of. I do wish the pull tabs were stitched in a way they couldn't fold down, but hey, they are useful.

Good but...
To start the fit was smaller than I expected and the toe box not especially roomy. Ordered my standard shoe size and they were a bit short. After wearing some they are better but not enough for thick socks. They are well made and the soles are really grippy though soft. I'll use them for everyday walking and standing but not for any real hiking. The low heel is ok for me but the tow box is not overly roomy as I had hoped. Really good shoes if you can find a size that works for your feet.
