It has a great wide toolbox and enough padding that I can go hiking and I can walk around on rocks and not fill everything. Perfect camping and all around boots. I love these boots and they are top quality!

Perfect fit
I wore these straight out of the box climbing a steep hill of about 100 feet. No pain!! I need a wide toe box and a narrow heel. Waterproof! Lots of room for toes! My only criticism is that is like putting on ice-skate 75 years ago. All the lacing and no modern clips like other boots.

Boulder summit waterproof
It's a good boot although the women's size 12 has a really high instep for being a women's shoe. I actually needed the men's 11 in length but the instep was way too huge so I went down to the women's 12 and got a boot stretcher. My feet are s feeling a lot better with the 16 mm soul and wide toe box. I wear metatarsal pads also. So far it's completely waterproof we'll have to see in a real pouring rain.
