Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Wonderful boots
After wearing through the seams in an earlier pair of Boulder boots after a decade of hiking in them, I upgraded to the Boulder Summit boots. Right out of the box the fit was great. Still have lots of toebox room. Don't need to add moleskin in the back for my narrow right heel, either. Like the increased ankle support, more aggressive tread also.

Amazing!!
I love these boots! I haven't tried them on a hike or on a rainy day, but I have worn them on long walks on cold days and they are very comfortable and keep your feet warm.
I usually wear 6.5 for sandals and tennis shoes, but when I tried these boots, I felt they were a little bit tight with thick socks, especially in the toe box. I then returned them and ordered a size 7. They fit my feet perfectly.
Ps: I have prime 2 that are size 6.5

Best shoes I have ever had.
I cannot even express how much I love these boots. I spend 10-15 hours on my feet every day and since getting these shoes I have hardly any foot pain. They are also so lightweight it feels like wearing tennis shoes and your feet don't get weary from lugging around heavy work boots. I had an issue with my first pair and let the company know and they were kind enough to send another pair. Cannot recommend these shoes enough.
