Not waterproof
I loved the first gen leather boulder boot and wanted this for their waterproof factor, especially since I'm based in Seattle, and love to hike and scramble. These were great approach shoes too. However, after about six months, the waterproofing completely deteriorated in and around the toe box. They eventually began to literally absorb water around the toes. It feels like it gets in through the seems(?) I still have these but can only wear them in dry climates. It's unfortunate. My other boots are a pair of Oboz and they're a far shot from Lem's superior comfort.

Yesterday
Stitching on gusseted tongue hurts ankle
Overall shoe is what was looking for, except the attachment style of the gusseted tongue on the inner side of the left shoe digs into my ankle when I tighten the laces. I have read a few other accounts of this with other people.
I've tried refolding, pressing down on, and reshaping the fabric that attaches the tongue to rest of shoe, but the only remedy I have found is wearing the boot with laces loose. Not ideal for active wear, but ok for normal day to day things to have loose laces. Wish boot could be used for all activities.

Initial impressions
New pair, so haven’t worn them yet. Based on many reviews, I ordered a half size up and glad I did. I have wide (EE) feet which was a motivation for trying zero drop shoes. Toe box is not as wide as I expected, but my feet feel comfortable wearing them. Construction looks fairly standard for light weight boots. Leather is definitely good quality, but stitching looks a bit thin. Price seems high for what they are (I waited for a sale).
