Barefoot type boot!
The waterproofing is great, and makes it a warmer boot. When standing, my foot is 9 cm at the widest and 22.5 cm long, which is perfect with this boot (size 6.5) when I’m not wearing socks. With thick socks, it’s a little more snug, but I’ve found the leather eases up to the size and shape of my foot a bit with time. Still love Lems!!

I Didn’t Choose the Boot Life, the Boot Life Chose Me
These boots said, “Trust me,” and I did—and wow, what a relationship. The Lems Women’s Boulder Summit boots are lightweight, ridiculously comfortable, and somehow make my feet feel both supported and free, like they’re on a spa retreat with a view.
They handled hikes, errands, bad weather, and my questionable life choices without a single complaint. Zero break-in drama. No blisters. No foot mutiny. Just cozy, flexible goodness wrapped in a boot that looks cute enough for everyday wear but tough enough to mean business.
Bonus points for being warm without turning my feet into swamp monsters. If you’re looking for a boot that works hard, plays harder, and still looks good doing it—these are it. I may never emotionally recover if they’re discontinued.

I love these but...
I love these boots but what I don't love is the interior of the boot. In a short time, there was quite a bit of wear in the heel/ankle area inside. I don't really wear these that much to warrant that amount of wear, especially when the outside of the boot looks about like the day I bought them.
Well, now that heel wear is quite literally through the whole interior to the outside leather. Some other innards of the boots are just hanging out, shredded. I'm not really sure what to do. I'm a bit handy and do some leather work and I'm thinking about glueing in a heel counter to just get by for a while but I'm also considering seeing if a cobbler can do anything, but the nearest one is an hour away.
I feel like the quality of the outside far exceeds the quality of the inside and that's disappointing. This isn't just a small hole here or there, it's just apparently a fabric/material quality issue inside. What is the point of a high quality sole and leather that would last 10 years when the inside can't last?
