Nearly perfect boot
These are probably the best boots in the barefoot market. They look great and are fairly comfortable, though I wish they were a little bit wider. I’ve been barefoot for many years and have very wide feet, but they're still comfortable enough for everyday use. Maybe going up half a size would have helped but I hate returning things and these boots are hard to find in stock.

I’m a mail carrier I walk about 12 miles a day love these boots. Very lightweight. Wish the material was more leather looking. It’s more of a suede material.

Excellent boots
I’ve only had these a few weeks, so definitely a preliminary review. I bought them to replace a pair of Italian hiking boots over used as winter boots and yard boots. I’ve been hiking and backpacking in much lighter shoes for years, but kept those around for those odd times I needed something sturdier. However, I got to where I just couldn’t stand the tight toebox. That’s where the LEMS come in. Super comfortable and WIDE in the front like a boot should be. Sole is sturdy enough to use a shovel, yet flat and still flexible. I did go a size up so I could wear thicker socks, but probably didn’t need to. Leather seems a good balance between suppleness and sturdiness. For my purpose, yard boots / work boots, I might have preferred something with thicker leather for durability, but I don’t think anything like that is on the market. For hiking. casual wear, and light work, these can’t be beat. If i remember, I’ll update in a year with durability review.
