Really tough, WARM boots!
I got these for my mom and they ended up being too small for her and while they were a bit long on me, the width was great, so we ordered another one size up for her and I kept these. It's been below freezing here for a couple days and snowing and I've been wearing these out and I'm very happy I kept them!

Love these boots
I wear a 39 in Birkenstocks and usually take an 8.5–9, though one foot is a half size bigger. I ordered the non-waterproof Tuff in both 9 and 9.5 and ended up keeping both. The 9.5s are perfect with thick socks and are my go-to for wet/snowy days, dog walks, and travel—I wore them all day in NYC and Boston and my feet stayed warm. The 9s fit best with thinner socks and have replaced my Blundstones as my daily office shoe. I probably could’ve stuck with just the 9s once they broke in, but I like having the 9.5s for extra warmth. I didn’t buy the waterproof version, but I treated them with Sno-Seal and they’ve been great. I highly recommend these boots! For reference I live in Vermont and walk daily in the snow during the winter.
