Giving these boots 100 Stars!
These have been the ONLY things on my feet for the past couple of months almost everyday in them. These have been everything and more than I asked for! Living in Alaska they have done me right. With the right socks they were very manageable in >Minus 20 degree Fahrenheit< I’m very impresssed. FIRST pair of many Lems to come.

Take the leap!
If you are on the fence, especially if you're taking the time to read reviews, listen to me... These are amazing and worth trying! Everything you've read is correct, and not hype, the only problem I have after trying these is I now want to replace all of my other footwear with Lems.
Size up 1/2 to a full size. I normally wear 10.5-11 depending on brand, I purchased 11.5 for the Insulated Breck Boot and they fit perfectly.
Warmth wise, they are definitely insulated for active wear and not standing around. If you plan to use these on the move (walking, hiking, snow shoe, etc...) they are perfect for cold temps (east coast canada cold), especially with a thick pair of socks when the temps really drop (remember to size up when you buy these to accommodate thick socks, if you only wear thin socks, only go up 1/2 size)
the side zip works as advertised, at least when not laced "hiking" tight. when laced for daily wear (slightly loose) I've had no issue wit hthe using the side zip for boot removal with the laces tied. They don't fall off your feet, but are easily removed without much fuss
Haven't tested waterproofness so no comment there aside from i would be cautious with any puddle deeper than the zipper, its definitely the weak link. not that i would expect water to pour in, continuous immersion likely wouldn't work

Best gift I ever gave my husband
I have tried for 30 years to get my husband to move away from his standard work boot and he would never do it. I decided to chance it and bought him these for Christmas and he is so happy with them! He keeps saying - "Tthese are the bes ttings ever - why did I fight this so much?"
