Sizing is wild
I have small feet — generally a 5.5 or 6 if I’m lucky. I knew these ran small based on other reviews. I measured according to their size chart. Based on my measurements, I ordered a 6.5 and a 7, just in case. BOTH were too small. I returned them for a 7.5 and 8. Ultimately the 7.5 fit me best (and I have NEVER worn a 7 before, let alone a 7.5).
These are pricey shoes and it is ridiculous to expect people to shell out for multiple pairs at a time because the sizing is so different from the sizes people typically wear. I wanted these shoes for 2 years before I could afford them. My return experience with Happy Returns was positive but it is unreasonable to have customers buy 4 pairs of shoes and return 3 just to get a good fit, especially at $200 a pair.
All that being said…I love the shoes now that I found the right size. They felt a little loose at first but now I love them. One of the ankles felt looser than the other, but it evened out within a week as the leather stretched. Customer service was responsive and helpful when I asked about the ankles feeling uneven. I haven’t worn them in significantly wet conditions yet but so far the sole traction is good in a rainy urban environment.

Comfy but stiff at ankles
I really like these boots but I have to wear socks to protect my ankles from being rubbed raw. Hoping they will soften up with time. Great shoe otherwise.

Exactly what I was looking for! Don't forget to order half a size up! I made this mistake. But returns were quick and easy and got the right size 5 days later. Wide foot water proof boots. They go with everything so far, even shorts in the summer! Excited to see how long they last :)

My new favorite boot
These boots were EXACTLY what I needed for a trip up Minnesota's North Shore in early June. It was cold and muddy and these boots got me around camp and up many trails, kept me safe rockhopping and dry everywhere! As comfortable or more than all of my other Lems, these are my new favorite boots that I'll be wearing constantly at home in Wisconsin once the temps come down again in the fall and throughout the winter. Oh, and I love that that they are easy to pull on with just the heel tab, too.

Awesome boot!
I'm on a mission to replace all my shoes with Lems! Slowly but surely, lol. I haven't worn these boots much as it's summer where I live, but they've been very comfortable so far. I look forward to wearing them more this fall/winter! I'm normally between a 7.5 and an 8. So I got an 8.5 and they fit great.
