Fit is great im a 15 4e. And couldn't be happier to find a brand that i can fit im to comfortably. These boots are holding up well . Super light on my feet. Whish i new about these sooner. Ive been inserting arch supports in my footwhere for years only to have extremely sore feet after work. These i dont not need any arch supports. Extremely comfortably. THANK YOU

Great Boots with a small problem
I’d like to start by saying these boots are extremely comfortable and light. I’ve been a fan of Lems for some time now and have always been on the lookout for a zero-drop tactical boot. When they released the Tactical Mid, I thought my prayers had been answered—and to a point, they have. Overall, the boot is very well constructed and super easy to get on and off. It flexes well, and the stack height is just enough to provide a small amount of cushioning underfoot.
The problem I have is with the right boot specifically. The first issue I faced was when I put this boot on and tied it up relatively loosely: I experienced severe pain on the inner side of my right ankle. When investigating this, I found that when the eyelet for the first lace hook had been attached, the material had bunched up and was caught under the eyelet itself. Having managed to pull the fabric out from under the eyelet, I thought the problem was solved. Much to my dismay, upon relacing them, the pain was again immediate—once more to my inner right ankle.
Further investigation has led me to believe that the problem lies where the gusseted tongue is attached to the boot on the inner side. When the tongue is placed in a central position, the stitching cuts into my skin due to the materials sewn together at this point. This pressure point creates an immediate pain spot and makes the boot unwearable. The problem only occurs with the right boot. To remedy this, I have to move the tongue of the right boot off…

The perfect boot!
When I started a new LEO career that required black boots, I was dreading the traditional offerings available in the tactical boot market as I've worn nothing but zero drop, foot shaped shoes for well over a decade. When I stumbled upon Lems version of a boot that fits my criteria, I was ecstatic (I thought they only made running shoes). These are perfect for me and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Cushioning is ideal, plenty of room for my toes to splay properly, and they look sharp. While the leather does make these heavier than a sneaker, I can still run and do PT in them.
Hopefully Lems makes the TALL version of these in black someday, as I'm not the biggest fan of the mid height...but until they do these will work just fine.
Until you've experienced how pleasant a foot shaped shoe feels, it's difficult to explain. People simply don't realize how restrictive traditional shoes/boots are until they wear something like Lems. Don't settle for cramped boots that pinch your toes and cause blisters. And don't fall for marketing that tells you an elevated heel is necessary. Wide, zero-drop shoes are superior to anything else out there.
