Better than I had anticipated
Great boots that did a fine job in the rocky/sandy desert of NM. Good traction and grip. The mud was easy to wash out of the tread before it dried. They were also easy to put on and take off.

Not true zero drop if used with provided insoles. Quite narrow around the forefoot
Pros: generally comfortable out of the box (if your type of foot fits the show) and very good quality. Roomy in the arch area, so will fit people with higher arches.
Cons: Upon wearing and visual inspection, the shoe itself is quite wide, but the footbox feels narrow I've uploaded a photo of the Altra Lonepeak 9+ for comparison where the footbox extends further out to the side give more room for toe splay. For For reference, the pictured Altra model is the regular and not the wide size. I took out the insules and interestingly the insoles of the Lems 43cm and Altra 42.5 are the same size, but the width of the material on the top og the shoe is different, making the Altra feel much more roomy.
Unsure: the shoe advertized as zero drop, however the foam insole is a few mm thicker in the heel than in the forefoot. When feeling both ends you can clearly feel the difference in texture and thickness. Presumably this is for added shock absorption. Comparing the insole with the Altra, the material of the Altra insole has equal thickness and feel all across. I would replace this with a completely flat insole if you want truly zero drop. Taking out the insole provides more room in the forefoot, yet big toes is still grazing the sides og the shoe, reducing toe splay by forcing the big toe slightly inside.
If you have average feet that are either narrow or less than average width in the forefoot or you dont care about increasing toe splay, you will likely be happy with this shoe. I…
