Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Great every day shoes!
I love these shoes! Very comfortable for every day kicking around in, great for hikes with the dogs. I love the flat style, more comfortable for my feet for sure! I'll be ordering more in the future!

Cool shoe, much smaller than expected
Cool shoe. Appreciate the slight 4mm drop.
however the sizing is very different than all other lems shoes. I know the description notes that this is a narrower fit but it feels much narrower than how it was described and also shorter than expected. My toes jam the front of these shoes which isn't the case at all for the other sets of lems shoes ive purchased.

The trail shoe I didn't know I needed
I got these because I wear primal 3's everyday and my hiking boots felt like high heals and are hot! I got these in time for my early May trip. I couldn't be happier! Barely any break-in needed crushed over 15 miles in a weekend and were so comfortable others in my group we're asking about these at least once a day. I was still truckin when others were about to toss their boots. And dried pretty fast after a couple puddles and creek crossings. I just wish they had a trail runner that fit more like the primal 3 but these are still definitely a win! Will get these again 100 times over unless Lems comes out with a wider size.
