Balanced Weight Distribution
The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. This even weight distribution enhances comfort during various activities. For those with lower arches and flat feet, you will find that this is a big improvement. But for those with high arches, you may feel very little, to no difference.
Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.
Zero-Drop Platform
Just like the Primal 2, the Primal 3 is built on a zero-drop platform which keeps your heel and toes level, mimicking your natural barefoot position on a flat surface.

Prefect shoe
These are the best Lems shoe I have tried. These things required no break in and are perfect for any off trail walks and hikes. I have worn them everyday since I got them.

Almost perfect, but ...
I really wanted to love these. I'm still on the fence about returning them since I think they do a lot right -- they're comfortable, easy to walk in, and more stylish than other hiking shoes (though I will say, the green colored pair doesn't have creamy white secondary color- it's definitely a sandy brown, which looks more drab in my opinion). My main problem lies in the toe box. My pinky and ring toes feel like they're being pushed in on the side, I assume because it has stiffer material there instead of the mesh on the rest of the shoes. I feel like i'd have to do something crazy like hole punch the stiffer upper material just to give that side more stretch, but I can't say I'm easier to play DIY with some $145 shoes lol. I really want to keep these, but I think that's going to make me return them. I have fairly wide toes, and the widest last like in the primals fits me well, but I suppose their medium width isn't for me. If you have regular or narrow width toes, this would probably work great for you.
