New favorite shoes
These boots are incredibly comfortable. They fit true to size. The snowy sidewalks of Canada had no chance of getting my feet wet because of these boots. And the styling is beautiful. Love them.

Allow you to move naturally
The other reviews were correct. You definitely need to size up by half a size from your normal size. I measured the insoles and they were exactly the same size as my normal insoles even though I ordered half a size larger.
So far really enjoying the freedom to move more natural naturally.

Near perfect Chelsea!
These boots are bomb! Good looking, waterproof, comfortable, tough, and the most xtra/exchangeable insoles are great for customizing the fit. I’m not sure sure what the faux fur at the ankle is for - not really insulating for the foot and I imagine it will make the boots less suitable for warmer weather. As it is, even in colder weather, these boots make my merino clad feet feel sweaty, probably because of the waterproof liner. One last quibble: for some reason, the right foot boot eats my sock! No matter what thickness the sock nor how much I pull it up, it always seems to bunch up under the ball of my foot. 🤷🏻 Still, I’m really enjoying these boots. I’ve owned a similar zero-drop Chelsea (xero) and the Lems are a superior build, especially with the tough sole.

My Favorite Chelsea Boots
Over the last 20+ years, I've worn out a few pairs of chelsea boots intended to be my winter flip flops (pull on, leave house). Keens (discontinued), Sorels (discontinued) and Keens again (hated the fit, didn't wear), as well as a pair of Xeros intended to be worn mostly indoors. All of them I had to treat the leather myself to have them be waterproof. All of them had various failing points (though I did wear them for YEARS apiece, they ought to have fallen apart eventually). I can't speak to the longevity of these Lems yet, I've been wearing them for only two weeks. But I can speak to the comfort, fit and function of them, which exceeds all of the above.
The fit is great (I wear a 41 fairly universally, this was no exception), the toe box is perfect for my feet that are used to having all the room they need, and they aren't floppy, requiring me to hold them on and defeating the barefoot wear. The loops are big enough to really get yer fingers in there and stretch the gores to slip them on with ease. The waterproofing was function tested and passed repeatedly. The tread is great and passed in mud, slush and steep hillside.
The only issue will be if they break down too fast, or if Lems discontinues or majorly changes them--then I'll be heartbroken.
