Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.
Higher Sidewalls
When examining the Lems Primal 3 from a lateral view, you may notice a visual difference — the sidewalls now wrap up higher on the sides. This is a deliberate design choice aimed at improving both fit and lateral stability. The higher side walls provide a snugger fit around the contours of your feet, cradling them comfortably.

Some problems
My first pair went a couple of months before the tread became unglued. My second pair came unstitched after light use. My third pair seems to be okay so far.
They are super comfortable and still seem to be well made in spite of the issues I’ve had. Either of these problems could have been easily repaired by me, at home without any special tools or training. I only chose to return them because they were still covered.
The return process is exemplary.
I have other Lems shoes and I love them. I will continue to purchase them in the future.
I gave 3 stars because they could stand to tighten some of the production standards

Comfortable Work Boot
Extremely comfortable work boot for light duty. Fit is great, I had to make an exchange for the next size larger , I would recommend a size in between a regular shoe and a running shoe size, maybe a half size larger than normal. No issues, easy and quick swap for correct size. The only reason the rating is not a 5 star is because I haven't had them long enough to report on durability.
