I decided to try barefoot shoes because the very first thing I do when I get home is take my shoes off - I spend as much of my life out of shoes as possible as I can. Much to my surprise, I catch myself wearing these shoes in the house because I forget I'm wearing them. I bought a couple of pairs of barefoot shoes around the same time and these are easily my favorite.
I have hEDS and chose these based on a review by another person with EDS and I could not be happier with them. The ankle support as top notch. They're so lightweight and my properception is almost as good as it is barefoot.
I wear a 9 in regular shoes and got the 9.5 as advised and am very happy with the fit.

Adorable, and amazing for someone with ankle hardware / arthritis
Comfortable for wide feet, cozy, and grippy. My orthotic brace fits nicely into and is hidden by these... I am the least stylish person in existence but I absolutely adore how these look. The red leather is stunning.
These boots are super supportive without forcing my stubborn joint-replaced ankle into uncomfortable positions like every other stiff hiking boot in existence (or keeping me at a perpetual wedge like some running shoes). I have flat feet and terrible injury-related arthritis, so believe me when I say these are really solid if you have bad feet.
Some cons:
-The soles don't appear replaceable, which is a pain at this price point.
-The treads are an absolutely unholy pain in the a** to clean if you want to use these for work boots

I don't usually write reviews...
but wow these were exactly what I was looking for and I didn't even realize until I put them on. They are so comfortable and they have a big toe box which is perfect for me because I need to wear toe spacers. I've been wearing them everyday since I've got them and what I really like is they really are an all-purpose shoe, you can dress them up or down. Once I wear these ones out I will definitely be purchasing again. I ordered half a size up and they fit great.
