The increased overall outsole width ensures that your body weight is spread out more evenly, reducing the pressure points on your feet. Enhanced Outsole
The Primal 3 is made with our Widest Fit Last, just like the Primal 2. The difference is that we developed a new outsole on the Primal 3 with a wider footprint for more ground contact underneath the foot.

Love the Ease of Pulling On, the Warmth, the Traction and Waterproof Reliability
This boot rocks! It has everything you could ask for in a snow/hiking boot. Looks great with jeans. I own over 10 different styles of Lems shoes, and this is my top pick for winter!

Perfect for me!
I have narrow heels and wide toes and I love how roomy these boots are! I also need boots with laces so my heels stay in but what's great about these is that they also have zippers so they're easy to take on and off. They're warm yet light. I love these boots so far! I've been wearing them around in New England winter almost nonstop for the past month. They're much easier to walk around in than my old clunky snow boots and they are also great for use with spikes when it's icy.

Love these boots!
My well-traveled and well-loved pair of vivobarefoot hikers finally died recently and I decided to take a chance on these because I don't really love the look of the newer vivos. I have a hiking trip in Norway coming up so I needed something warm, waterproof, and not too bulky to pack and fly with. A couple weeks in and I'm already totally in love with these boots! On day 1 they felt a little stiff and rubbed on my ankles, but that faded very quickly -- within a couple of days they felt perfectly broken in. So comfy! So warm! And I love the look too.
The side zip is fantastic (because I'm lazy) but also the source of my only small complaint so far: sometimes it unzips little by little on its own. It doesn't happen all the time and really isn't that big a deal -- when I notice it, I just zip them back up. Once I do that they're usually good to go for the rest of the day, so it's probably user error (i.e. I didn't quite zip them up completely to begin with but didn't realize).
I sized up just slightly from my normal shoe size so I could wear thick socks without them being too tight. The fit is perfect and my feet stay nice and warm even if I'm outside in the snow all day.
